About Us |
|
Established in 1926 with lumbering facilities in the small village of Heathville, Pennsylvania, Emmin K. Fenstermaker and his wife Chloe L. Lantzy began their operations with a few work horses, hand saws, a circular mill and a determination to succeed. Many years of hard work ensued. High quality lumber was produced and distributed to furniture manufacturers throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio. Lumber that did not make the grade for furniture was used in their pallet manufacturing division.
Throughout the years the company has evolved from manufacturing lumber and pallets to sales of log homes and log home building materials.
Today, NorthFork Log Home & Lumber Center (formerly known as E.K. Fenstermaker Lumber Company), deals exclusively with log homes and log home products.
